Pleasant River

I have always lived near a river, stream, brook, pond, ocean.

This is my new playground. I feel very lucky to have all this just steps from my front door.

Every evening I drift off to sleep to a waterfall lullaby.

One Monday in Maine

The view on my way home.

The blueberry barrens have begun their color shift to crimson for fall.

Happy Autumnal Equinox.

WiP Wednesday

am a genetically and astrologically programmed finisher. I love thinking up new projects and gathering materials. But once a project is underway, it's all about gettin' er done.

Inspired by dear friends and recent events (more about that coming soon), I am initiating my WiP Wednesday (Works in Progress). A blog day dedicated to savoring the raw, exposed ends, wrong side, unfinished beauty of the process of creating.

This is a cardigan in progress made with Nash Island Fog Yarn. My inspiration for what to do with all the little odds 'n ends bits of test dye lots that have accumulated in the studio.
What are you working on this Wednesday?
