WiP Wednesday

am a genetically and astrologically programmed finisher. I love thinking up new projects and gathering materials. But once a project is underway, it's all about gettin' er done.

Inspired by dear friends and recent events (more about that coming soon), I am initiating my WiP Wednesday (Works in Progress). A blog day dedicated to savoring the raw, exposed ends, wrong side, unfinished beauty of the process of creating.

This is a cardigan in progress made with Nash Island Fog Yarn. My inspiration for what to do with all the little odds 'n ends bits of test dye lots that have accumulated in the studio.
What are you working on this Wednesday?

Valenzi

A new installment to the Cardi Project just completed!

This is Valenzi by Mary Jane Mucklestone from her fabulous book Fair Isle Style.

Knit with Nash Island Light yarn in driftwood, wild iris, mussel shell, whelk, and raven.

A great pattern and wonderful knitting start to finish.
And thanks to the current Maine weather I won't have to wait until fall to wear it!
